These photographs of the old Beaufort County Courthouse at the
corner of Market and Second streets show how the facility, now being
restored, looked in the early 1900s. The top picture shows how the
building looked from a front view and the bottom scene shows how it
looked before the addition for the vaults was added at the rear. The
pictures were provided by Tideland Scrapbook by Frank Rollins of
Washington Park whose father is one of the two men in the buggy in
the bottom photo. The identity of the other man is unknown. |
