Flurena Vapor Salve and Flurena Nose Drops were first manufactured
in March, 1933, by a manufacturing chemist who had studied for many
years similar products of other manufacturers. From these formulas
and from the latest knowledge in medicines this chemist discovered
what he considered the best formulas for these popular remedies for
colds. From the very start the quality of Flurene was recognized by
users who had continued to call for Flurene. The manufacturing plant
was moved to Washington North Carolina, in November of that first
year. Flurene Salve retailed for 25 cents per 1 1/2-oz. jar; Flurene
Nose Drops for 35 cents per 1-oz. bottle. |
