The general farm supply store was operated by W. Baugham,
Incorporated. The business reached over into Hyde, Craven and Martin
Counties, as well as serving the entire county of Beaufort. Armour's
fertilizers, Avery's farm implements, Union Carbide, the products of
the Roanoke City Mills, and many other well-known lines of
merchandise were sold. This was both a wholesale and retail
