The general farm supply store was operated by W. Baugham, Incorporated. The business reached over into Hyde, Craven and Martin Counties, as well as serving the entire county of Beaufort. Armour's fertilizers, Avery's farm implements, Union Carbide, the products of the Roanoke City Mills, and many other well-known lines of merchandise were sold. This was both a wholesale and retail business. This photo image was taken from the Special Rotogravure Section featuring the First City to Bear the Name of Washington in the Washington Daily News.
