| Twenty-five years ago, on September 3, 1913, Washington was visited by the most severe storm in its recorded history. Occurring a quarter of a century ago, a year before the beginning of the World war, it is beyond the memory of the present generation and for this reason Captain Ben B. Ross, of the Daily News was requested to record his impressions of the famous storm that almost laid waste the city. |
