This is a copy of the last will and testament of Sally Anderson taken from the North Carolina State Archives, Beaufort County, Orphan Book A. After various bequeaths, Sally wished her Negro slave, Hull Anderson to be emancipated once he paid her estate $200 and paid Joseph B. Hinton, executor of the estate, $150. Her complete will, witnessed by James Avent and Edward Quin, is displayed here. |
